Am I at a good weight???!


Question: I am 16, male, 5'8, and 135 lbs. is that a good weight, or not??? Veryone thinks i look underweight/ super skinny, and i was wondering if im at a good weight because of this??? i lost 5 pounds too (but i bike and walk everywhere and i have a really fast/high metabolism). am i overweight, underweight, or healthy??? everyone thinks im underweight and look too skinny, but i cant help it. Is my weight god, or no???

My husband is 5'7" and 130 lbs. and I think he's super skinny. Technically he's underweight, but there's not much you can do about it if you have a high metabolism. Trust me, he's tried everything. Just be grateful you never have to go on a diet!

i think ur skinny but yeah thats a good weight.
your underweight, but still healthy. it is possible to be both if you eat good food and still exercise, a fast metabolism is a good thing. : )

That's a bit underweight. Maybe add about 10 pounds and you'll be good.

Since your active you sound about right. Enjoy it now because you will have a slower metabolism as you age.

consider yourself lucky.
you got a good metabolism and your body maintains a good, albeit slightly low weight. if you want to gain a bit of weight do it by building muscle, not by mass consuming food. do some light muscle training and eat a bit more proteins (meat, eggwhites, fish, legums, tofu, chicken, etc) with carbs.
