First, why are you dieting? Do you intend to keep eating this way indefinitely? You should ask yourself when trying to lose weight whether you can continue to maintain the program you are using. If you don't intend to keep eating a bowl of cereal, a yogurt, and a lean pocket every day, I'd reconsider. Using a diet that isn't reasonable for long-term use is going to result in you losing weight and then gaining it back as soon as you go back to however you were eating before.
Personally, I'd never use the diet you described. It sounds very unpleasant and not particularly healthy. Where are the vegetables?
Yes, fiber is healthy, and wheat is healthy too, but you need other things too.
"Lean pockets" aren't that lean. They really aren't that healthy. Don't eat things that are stuffed with cheese if you want to lose weight. What kind of "general mills" cereal? Are we talking bran flakes, or Count Chocula? I'd suggest eating oatmeal instead. PLAIN oatmeal, not the kind that has brown sugar, maple syrup, candy flavors, and so on. That stuff is more sugar than oats.
Try to get the best quality of food for the least amount of calories. Lean pockets have 280 calories a serving. 280 calories is a lot for one tiny, mediocre-tasting sandwich. A baked chicken breast with 1/2 cup of steamed spinach and 1/2 cup of steamed carrots has about 132 calories. That is a substantial meal. Think about the difference between eating a tiny, unsatisfying unhealthy meal, and a big healthy meal that has plenty of B-vitamins, iron and protein. You can't make your dietary decisions based on companies calling their products "lean," "diet," or "low-fat." I constantly see women eating "diet" cookies and drinking "diet" soda, and then they wonder why they aren't losing weight.

It really depends on your diet. Low carb diets are about reducing/controlling how much sugar you eat. Low-fat are about limiting fat. But fiber fills you up so that you don't want to eat as much later. So high fiber is good for almost any diet that I've researched.

That's not bad, but make sure the cereal in question is whole grain (which most General Mills cereals are) and keep an eye on the sugar content. Not sure if the Lean Pocket is so good, because there's a lot of processed stuff in there, and the sodium is a killer. Maybe the Lean Pocket for lunch with the yogurt, an ACTUAL apple for the snack, then get some whole grain pasta and some good spaghetti sauce. (splurge and get the Newman's Own stuff, especially with garlic in it)

in order for our bodies to get the proper nutrients that we need we must have a variety of our food groups instead of just sticking to one....example: eating pineapples everyday when I should be eating a variety of fruits daily!...so no don't stick with the usual all the time.
