I own a health and nutrition business, have taught fitness and used to do beauty pageants. You do not need to lose weight. You already weigh less than many pageant contestants I have known who have placed highly and won. Don't try to lose weight. Instead, concentrate on eating healthy, and do the working out. Doing the cardio and some weight training is all you need to tone yourself up so that you develop lean muscle. I am guessing that you are young - maybe in your early to mid teens. If so, understand that your body is developing into the body of a young woman - it is developing curves. It's supposed to do that! You need to learn to recognize it, relish it, and love it. Your weight, right now, in relation to your height, is known as "hot". Just get used to it.

Additional information: I understand that you probably do not have a goal of looking like a pageant contestant and may even have a negative view of such people. That is not my point. My point is that these ladies are graded not so much for looking "hot" (although that can help) but for looking toned and fit. They have learned not to be ashamed of their bodies or of their womanhood.
If, at your weight, you think you're flabby, you tone up, you don't diet. Dieting can be interpreted by the body as "starvation". What happens is this: Your brain needs a basic chemical called glucose to operate properly. Deprived of glucose, you get "foggy thinking", and all sorts of hormonal and chemical imbalances. You lose your ability to do well in work or school, and also lose some ability to make good decisions in your life - not to mention also becoming prone to depression. When the body goes into dieting - starvation - mode it begins to slow the metabolism and that causes your body to want to hang onto every calorie and gram of fat on you. When you are already thin (as you are), this can have a very negative impact on your health. At your weight, you are better off eating healthy, NOT dieting, and exercising to develop lean muscle mass. The reason for this is that it will get rid of the flab, you will feel good, and - muscle burns more calories than fat does so the fat will shrink on it's own while the muscle will give you a strong, toned, unflabby look - and you will feel great in the process!
Some people ask questions in this forum for truthful, actual answers, and some are just looking for someone to agree with them. I write in this forum to give the truth - and, like it or not, this is it.
