How many times in one day should I weigh myself?!


Question: The reason I am asking is because when I eat or drink water (which I eat 5 times per day and drink 64-100 oz. of water per day) my weight fluctuates by 3-4 pounds. I really don't know what I weigh.

Some people say stay away from the scale because it will drive you nuts, but I weigh myself once a day. First thing in the morning before I eat or drink anything because that's most likely your actual weight. If you weigh yourself numerous times a day you'll really go crazy because you're weight fluctuates when you eat and drink.

I too drink tons of water and eat at least 5-6 small meals a day. Anything I weigh after my first weigh-in in the morning doesn't really count to me.

You should way yourself in the morning after using the restroom and before you get dressed, this is your true weight. Your weight will go up or down a few pounds because of what you eat and drink through out the day.

Try in the morning after you have been to the toilet.

weigh yourself once every night

once a WEEK is sufficient!! If you obsess about your weight, you're only going to drive yourself NUTS!!! A watched pot never boils, and a watched scale never moves. Eat RIGHT (notice I did say right not better), exercise, get plenty of sleep, and I guarantee you that you'll easily lose 2-3 pounds a week and be able to KEEP it off!!
