Question: So there's the pill and there's the drink containing L-Carnetine that says "helps burn fat"
Well, how does it work?
Is exercise needed to "activate" it or does it really burn fat just like THAT *snap*

L-Carnitine is a substance that is often catogorized as an amino acid. It helps mobilize fat in your fat cells so that it can be used for energy. The more you take the more effect it has. Technically you would not need to exercise to "activate" it, but exercise speeds weightloss (among other healthy things). Generally you are supposed to take it on an empty stomach with a glass of water.
some studies have used 3,000 mg a day (I personally take 4,000 a day), but I have seen the dose go as high as 8,000 depending on your resistance level to weightloss.
