Should I go to Weightwatchers?!

Question: Can it actually help? The adverts fill me with optimism but then I remember Little Britain...

In my opinion, WW is the only thing that really works! I do the online program (no meetings, but cheaper) and I lost 30 pounds in about 8 months. The thing I love about WW is that it doesn't put you on a diet, it teaches you how to live differently. You learn how to eat well and you'll find that you actually want things like fruits and vegetables and grains (their whole thing is based on fiber intake). With the Points program, you learn to look at food differently, which I know was key to my success. It's at least worth a try, and if you don't like it, you can move on to something else. I lost 5 pounds my very first week and that was a huge motivator.

In response to the guy who says it's a waste of money and that you should just cut the fat and sugar out of your diet, THAT is a sure fire way to not lose weight. Dieting is not that easy/simple, and you don't want to cut out all fat and sugar anyway. If you try WW, you'll learn about that and you'll see why that guy is an idiot. Good luck!

No it's a waste of money ...just cut out the fat and sugar from your diet

yes because it really do help people to lose there weight.

if you NEED to. you gave us no info about weight, height, etc.

i have friends that go, and it's been great for them. doesn't hurt to try.

I've had success with it. It really educates you on how little food you really need to eat and how little fat should be in that little bit of food.

You can even do it over the internet

hi i did weight watchers couple of years ago and whilst i did lose weight it reeli is expensive..well it is for me cuz im a student but you shud try it and see for yourself..i really dont know why i did it because im a curvy size 12 lol and im happy with my figure..but yeh try it chick!

My co-worker lost 3 stone after months. Its theory is sensible & balanced eating so its not a quick fix but it works buy changing your eating habits & nothing if forbidden just restricted.!

I found weight watchers really useful and still use all the points guides they gave me even though I reached my goal weight a few years ago. The meetings are a really good incentive to keep you on the straight and narrow as you can't kid yourself you're doing ok if the lady who weighs you says otherwise!

I recently join Slimming World found it great. Have lost 2 stone. I tried WW but found it hard, but that is me.

If you are serious about loosing weight I think SW or WW are a great idea to get you moving in the right direction and most meetings are very supportive. But you have to follow the plan and stay with it.

Good luck hope it all goes well.

I looked at both Slimming World and Weight Watchers.

I decided to go for Slimming World. It's a lot simpler; no points counting, and I think it works out cheaper. No branded diet products.

I've now lost 3 and a half stone since last summer. I've found it very very easy.

can do but when you stop going all the weight will go back thats what happend to me and u spend
