Whenever you crave a particular food, doesnt that mean your body is lacking some!

Question: or something...? What is the science behind that?

Answers: or something...? What is the science behind that?

No. Think about fat and salt. Years ago, humans didn't get a lot of fat and especially salt in their diets. Therefore, you instincivley crave those foods since they weren't always readily available. However in today's society, fat and salt come in excess in foods because of how much people crave them. So although you crave foods, the craving comes more from instincts (or personal preferance) not defeciency

i just thought pregnant women did that cause of hormones

a lot of times...especially with sodium.

Yeah, I've heard of that. I think it's true - it makes a lot of sense.

Exactly right... in fact there is a website that gives all that information. Go to the research section of New Free Books to "reduce cravings." That will give all that info.
