You are doing well. Don't worry that you haven't lost weight in a few days. What you're doing is working.

Take a little bit longer view to the process. You might want to look at it this way:

To lose weight, you must gain back your health! (and this is what you are doing).

Congratulations and good luck!

muscle weighs more than fat

Have you considered that you might be adding muscle weight. Muscle weighs more than fat, so if that is true you are just getting in better shape. Just keep on working out and watching you diet. Everyone will miss a day occasionally or eat too much at one time or another, but just go right back to it the next day, don't give up. YOU CAN DO IT! And I would bet anything that you have just added muscle weight! Check out your abs and biceps!

Sounds like you're motivated, determined and doing great so far! Good job on keeping to your diet and exercising. I think this is called a plateau. Where after awhile.. your body starts to plateau at a certain weight. You know how you hear those last 5-10 pounds are always the hardest to lose?
I need to find a way to stick to my exercise plan without slacking.
as my boyfriend used to once say to me.. 'Don't be Discouraged'.
Congratulate yourself on your accomplishment so far, 2 lbs a week is great! Just keep going. You may have to start 'stepping up' your exercise if you feel you've plateaued and still want to keep losing weight.

over time your body gets use to the diet and workout and it takes more time to lose the weight. Keep doing what your doing and intensify your workout and you will see more results

That's completely normal!! When I did weight watchers I went 2 weeks without my scale moving and then it just started again.. Keep doing what you are doing!! Don't give up. You might want to mix it up a little... Like do a workout dvd instead of treadmill or something just so your body won't get used to it.. But you've just hit a plateau! it will start again..
