Does drinking water help cleanse the body and therefore lose weight?!

yes it does, and it also makes you pee ALOT lol

id try to drink as much as you can in a day.. but i cant imagine drinking 8 glasses!! that would probly make me hate water lol

Yes actually if there was a magic weight loss potion out there water would be the closes thing to that. Here are some ways water helps. Okay if you drink a glass of water before you eat it might make you want to eat less because the signal you are hungry is similar to being dehydrated. Before you feel the dry throat and very thirsty feeling your body has been dehydrated for a while. Then if you drink a glass while eating then it helps process the food better, helps it go down so it doesn't all get stored into fat and it goes down quicker, plus you will get filled up quicker, and taking breaks to drink water will help you take control of you food intake. Also here is a trick that I have only told a few people, and it WILL work for you as it did me years ago. I wanted to loose weight and lost about 30 pounds in 3 months....Okay if I tell you this and you try it then you need to put me as the top answer.....

If you divide your weight by 2 that is the number of ounces of water you need to be drinking, and if you do that you will loose weight.
I'm not done with the math tricks....
If you times your weight by 11 then that will be how many calories you eat per day. If you want to weigh a certain weight then times your desired weight by 11 then you will need to eat that many calories instead to be that weight....

ex. if you weigh 140lbs then 140X11=1540estimated calories per day
desired weight: 115X11=1265calories need to be eating.
