I need to lose 9 pounds...please help.?!

Question: So the Marine recruiter told me today that I need to lose 9 pounds hopefully in two weeks to go to Meps. Is this something I can achieve in two weeks? I'm worried that I wont lose fat just water or muscle. Any advice?

I did a boot camp fitness program and lost a ton of weight through it. You have to figure out your resting metabolic rate - how many calories you burn just doing nothing all day, and then subtract like 500. It's going to look like NOTHING, but as long as you plan it out you can still eat plenty of food and stay under your caloric intake.

No more than 25 grams of fat a day. Avoid salts, sugars, butter, etc.

If you have access to a treadclimber or stairmill, they aregreat. Also, doing lunges or stairs with weights is good. And squats.

Totally feasible, just make sure you're eating, and eating the right things. It can get ugly real quick if you don't.

wow! that's diffficult. you could workout for 3 hours a day, jog a little, watch the calories you eat and go to the gym

Is this the first time he's told you that? I doubt it....why wait until the last minute?

Don't worry, they can keep you in basic training for up to six months before sending you home. They'll pull you out of your platoon and put you back a series or in the fat platoon until you're ready and able to progress!...I'll BET he didn't tell you THAT!

it'll be hard to loose that much in 2 weeks
i can't say no ones done it, just that i haven't heard it been done properly b4
u might b able to lose 4 or 5 pounds tho

eat 6 small meals (that equal around 1200-1500 calories all up) exercise 20 or so more mins and ignore any junk, sugary drinks or full cream dairy

hope i helped =]

Eat less, do LOTS of cardio, cut down on the weight training, and start taking some supplements that increases your liver metabolism.

Lift weights its the best thing for you. Muscle burns alot of fat.

hey. don't let that guy make you feel bad. you can do it!!!!

for me, it helps if i basically cut out bad carbs.

but really, don't lose hope.

It's possible, if you have the determination.

You won't lose any muscles if you keep your heavy weight lifting program. You however, need to do cardio. What's your workout program? Do 15 min treadmill right after your workouts. Also try doing jumping ropes during your off days. The most important thing though, is to eat right. NOT eat less, but eat healthy. So that means watch your diet, eat less calorie foods then you normally would. Losing fat is all about losing calories. Doing cardio will burn at calories. Which is what you need. You don't want too much carbs and fat.

DON'T eat anything within 4 hours before you sleep. If you can't control yourself, eat fruits, such as oranges or apples.

You can do it man.

Hi,

To lose 9lbs in 11 days, try the Calorie Shifting System.
Check it out at http://www.fatlossfast.org

Cost under 50 bucks.. works for me and many I have recommended. Success rate: more than 90% for people who have tried. Need discipline to be successful.

All the Best,
