Here is a protein shake recipe... any opinion?!

Question: 1 banana. 5 grams of creatine. 40 grams of whey protein. skimmed milk. added ice and mixed in order to make a frappucino texture. served in a Starbucks venti-sized cup. What do you think? Do you think that it's gonna help with my working out?

Do you plan on drinking this during a workout? If so, it will be too slow-digesting to provide any benefit. In fact, you will probably get stomach cramps because it'll just sit there slowly digesting because of the milk. One recommendation I have, and this may sound a little weird: blend a cup of frozen broccoli instead of a cup of ice into your shake. Just trust me -- you will not taste the frozen broccoli if it's blended well, it gives the same effect as ice, and it will make your shake way, WAY healthier!

definitely!

For sure, especially since you're using whey protein.

Whey supplements supply the body with many essential amino acids needed for good health and is used by athletes to repair and build muscles after a tough workout.

Great post! I totally understand how you feel. I'm also trying to lose weight and I found this great product which is working for me (it's all 100% natural - a colon cleanse that was really gentle on my body. I feel so good and I lost 15 pounds). You can check the website at
