How much should I lose per month?!


Question: I have been losing weight since Dec. 07. I am trying to lose a total of 50 lbs. I know its gonna take me a while. Besides around 7 lbs. a month, what is a comfortable/ healthy amount of weight to lose a month? Could I still lose more then 7 lbs. a month and be in a healthy state? I don't want to lose it to fast and gain weight back... plus more. Are omega 3s good for dieting? And besides running, what are easy activities to breaking a plateau?

2 to 3 lbs a week is ok. also you can lose more weight at certin months and it won't hurt anything. You just have to stick to the healthy eating and exercise for life. switch you workout plans each month either add reps or do them in a different rotation then your body won't get used to the same stuff. also you won't get bored

Common knowledge says that more than 3 pounds a week is unhealthy.

Omega 3 is not necessarily good for dieting, but if it makes you feel healthy and more likely to be active take it.

Swimming is probably the best single exercise for getting healthy. Ever seen a fat surfer?

try losing 8-10 lbs. depending on you current weight, i do push-ups, bench presses, crunches, and Squats with weights
