No, as long as you are following a healthy eating plan and not crash dieting which you won't be able to keep up long term.

People who are bigger have more fat to loose so can loose weight faster as they run less risk of burning up muscle and bone.

Not necessarily. It depends how you lost it. Most people will lose a fair bit of weight when they first start trying, especially if combining a healthy eating plan with an exercise regime. If the weight continues to come off at that rate then maybe I'd say that you were losing a bit too quickly and may struggle to keep it off.

Good luck and well done so far though. That is a fantastic start.

That's fine. Most people lose about 5 lbs the first week when starting a new diet + exercise regime. But beyond that you should be averaging 0.5-2 lbs a week. Anything beyond that and you will just be losing muscle mass and for some people, ends up giving you loose skin. So just stick to what your doing for now and you should be good.
