What do they mean by "toned" legs?!

Question: Is it the color? Or the shape...or what? And how can I get them? Thanks!

The general shape and muscularity (if thats even a word) of your legs. Are your thighs strong? If not, work on that by using leg weights and lying on the ground and bringing your legs up and down to about three inches off the ground. I wish that i would be there to see your legs after that...

no not the color haha..
it is having muscle in your legs but not a ton! You dont want sickly amount of leg muscle, just no celluitlie and firm. just pleasently toned, ya see ?

It is the shape of your legs.

toned legs are legs that have muscle, not flabby, but a nice shape...but not too much muscle......get them by going on runs, going to the gym...GOOD LUCK!!!

toned legs are legs that have well defined muscles, not big bulky muscles, just well defined muscles

Fact 1 - Leg toning is more about losing fat
Toned legs do not come because you go crazy at the gym and work your legs like you are going to lose them. Toned legs are a result of a controlled diet and cardio plan so that you lose the fat that is covering the muscle.

Like any body part, you will not be able to see definition and tone unless you strip away the fat that is covering the muscles. If you want toned and firm legs then you need to lose the fat on them and that will only happen by eating healthy and doing some cardio.

Fact 2 - Leg toning takes time
Women often write to me asking how they can tone their legs up in two weeks. I always cringe when I read it. For many women the process of losing weight and building muscle takes years.
