Why do people rely on liposuction instead of losing the weight naturally?!

Question: Why on earth do people get liposuction done or any other surgery to get rid of fat? Unless you have pounds of loose skin, what is the point? Why can't they just eat healthier and exercise to lose that fat?

mmm.......because they are lazy.

Thats why we should educate the community with our knowledge of weightloss :)

I don't know. I was watching tv today and this kid had gastric bypass surgery at 18 years old and after his surgery he was drinking coke and eating pizza with his family. And I'm thinking why can't this kid just lose the weight without surgery, it really makes me think that some people have no regard for their health.
Everyone wants a magical pill that will make them lose weight in a week

that would take willpower and energy

instead of money and stupidity

they usually suck out the fat that gets trapped and is very hard to loose, some people cant get rid of it at all ,even slim healthy people have cellulite.

I think they must want it done faster & it takes a long time to lose weight. But they would probably go back to eating again since their bodies didn't get use to losing the weight through a diet.

What would you do if the average healthy weight loss when you're not losing muscle but only pure fat is 1-2 pounds a week, and you have 150+ to lose......exactly. Get the liposuction.

Unless you want to work out constantly for the next couple of years with minimal results, if any at all, like it is for most people.

And if it was just eat healthy and exercise, believe me, a lot more people would be skinny. So many other factors come into losing weight that those two factors above will never accomplish the goal alone.

Especially when the body is designed to hold onto weight with all of its will, due to prevention of starvation, and if you go below a certain amount of calories, your body goes into starvation mode and then it is almost impossible to lose weight.

Again, get the liposuction. I would do it if I could afford it. But its good ol' exercising and eating like a rabbit with minimal results for me.

It's the easy way out. They'd rather have someone get rid of the fat for them, while their lazy asses lay on a bed.

laziness
no time to work out
need quick body fix up
to look fab asap
they dont have control in what they eat
some people do lipo for a beginning of healthier life(w/o struggle) and some people do it to end their insecurities...it's easier on those people that cant control food consumption than trying to lose all the fats in gym all day!(besides not all people got all the time in the world to work out) that's just one of the advantage n disadvantage of the present generation...

Having a lipo will not make someone healthier...it'll just make u look better...exercise and healthy consumption is better...But having lipo is better than having no change at all..Besides, most of the people having lipo shows the spark of the change of their routine through healthier living.

Liposuction is not for general weight loss, in fact it cannot remove more than a few pounds of fat in any one session. Liposuction is for reshasping body contours and inch loss.

As you cannot control where the fat comes off with a healthy lifestyle, liposuction can be a very handy option for people with stubborn fatty deposits that will not shift with diet or exercise.
