I need help on losing weight... oh yeah I'm 13!!!?!


Question: Well I'm a 13 year old boy @ 5'5" and weighs 204.5 lbs. There are some girls that I like in my class that I want to ask out, but I want to lose weight first. Plzzz give me some advice about losing weight FAST!!!!!!!

There is no fast way to loose weight, it takes alot of work. Take what you are eating now and cut it in half, Drink alot of water (that makes you feel full), and maybe try to jog in the afternoon or ride bikes or see if your mom will let you join a gym or children's YMCA or something.But whatever you do will take dedication and if you don't see results right away keep working you notice your clothes start fitting different. Its better to do it now than when you grow up cause the older you get the harder it is too loose.

I would suggest you to start a diet - Japanese diet as you can burn after the diet as well.
Exercise - it can be just walk (5 km per day at the beginning), run, dance,swim
If you would like to continue - change the diet after two weeks - start new one, continuing exercising. The secret is the body not to get used with the particular diet

You can't loose weight FAST!!!! It takes time, its gradual and it's not something that you can do for one week and wala, your thin. You have to eat right, and excersize more cardio than weight training. They would have moved on by the time you loose the weight that's healthy. It will take about 3-5 months. It takes time dude.

This is a complex question. At your age, your metabolism (a system in your body that burns fat up as energy) is high enough that you wouldn't need much excercise. Just get outside at least an hour a day and play something with your friends or even just go for a walk. Eat less food is always the best way. That can be a very hard thing to do though. Write a little list of the things you eat, drink, how much and how often and I will give you some tips on what to cut.
