Question: I am 5 feet and a half inch I weigh 111 pounds and am 31%body fat and my thighs are 19 inches and my waist is 25 inches am i fat??

im reall curvy and I HATE it i dont wanna be like sooo curvy my hips r like 32 inches

You are not fat. And besides, you are still growing!!

My hips are 32 inches. I'm 5'5" tall. I'm not fat.

You may have unrealistic or skewed ideas about what you should look like.

Try exercising a little more; cardio-weights, especially, will tighten up all your curves. And make you happier, and less worried about "being fat."

Hey, my mother in law; she's as tall as you. SHE weighs 350 pounds.

PS: these negative and mean answers are from kids. I'm not a kid. And I bet some of these kids giving you these mean answers are the size of my mother-in-law -- I've seen some of 'em...and unless you've had a specific-gravity weight analysis done, there is no way to know accurately that you're "31% body fat": caliper methods are hugely inaccurate, kiddo.

why do pple like you insist on asking us over the internet if you are "fat" or not. do you have a mirror in your house? 31% body fat is very high, and who exaclty measured your body fat, and how?

Alot of cocasion women do not have genes of being curvey like your self(come on people i'm telling the truth)

You're perfectly normal! I have like no curves whatsoever, so I'm jealous of those kind of proportions! And if you're in middle school, you'll probably grow another inch or two within the next couple of years. Don't worry about being "big" or "fat." You're normal! Be proud of your curves.

Well you ain't overweight at all. But you do have a high fat percentage. You should try to tone up. Go for a nice run for a couple of miles every day, and do some leg and tummy work. You can find things on youtube for that. You definitely don't weigh that much, so I don't think you need to lose weight. Just tone up. :)

no way, I'm in you age range, your not fat or big, because I'm bigger than that (not by much), but at your height ur weight is healthy, curvy is good. don't listen to what guys say they burn more calories than us girls so they really don't know how it is, all they what is a girl is a big chest and pencil thin waist!

No NO No NO NOOOO!!! You are most definitely not fat!!! I'm jsut 1 and 1/2 inches taller than you and I have 19 1/2 inch thighs and around 25 inch waist. It's pretty fit... Your body fat might be up a little...so EXERCISE! Tai Bo does wonders!!! I've only had it for less than a month and I alreadylost 2 inches off my hips (30 1/2) It really works! But I wouldn't worry if I was you.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but at 5 ft and 31% body fat, is unhealthy.

I am not saying this at all to be mean, really. I am saying this as you are at health could be at risk.

The good news is that there are tons of healthy things you can do to help get your fat % in the healthy range. If I were you, I would take up running and yoga. Running is great for heart healthy excersise and does amazing things for the thighs and butt. Yoga tones muscles and adds flexibility which will make you appear long and lean.

nope!! that is normal for being in middle shcool. youll stil grow and probably stretch out (lol) and youll turn out ok as long as you ALWAYS exercise!! join dance or gymnastics!!

pizzz answer to your question, i don't know what all these measurements got o do with your being big or fat, 111lbs.
that's what i need to weigh, aim 4ft. 11in. tall and i don't consider myself as being big, i may need to tone up my abs but that's it. besides men like women with a lot of buttock and curves. do we have any men out there to answer her question? i mean real men?

Well I answered one of your other questions and now I'm thinking something is not quite right.

First of all, where did you get the 31% figure amount from? Was it from a doctor or from a website?

And also where are you measuring your hips because 32 inches is really really small....look at any size chart it's a size 00. You have to measure around your buttocks and thighs for the hip measurement.

I think if you are worried, you should check with your doctor. People on this site mostly don't know what they are talking about or they just post nasty comments to try and upset you.
