I'm trying to lose weight...is my current diet working for me?!


Question: I'm at 123 lbs. more or less and I'm trying to get down to 115 lbs. Here's what I eat on average...

Breakfast: Roll with an egg, cereal, or a yummy bran muffin :)

Lunch: A 3/4 cup of beans and a tortilla (both homemade of course : D)

Dinner: Might vary from a pasta dish (1 cup of pasta, 1 cup of meat mixture that's very low in fat), salmon with veggies, or chicken.

Dessert: A piece of chocolate, almond roca, yogurt w/ honey, or celery w/ peanut butter

Should I add more or less..or change my diet completely?

I also do light to average workouts and climb a lot of stairs every day...What do you think?

Your diet may seem to work, but it will only be temporary. When you are trying to get rid of weight and you are dieting, you will be getting rid of both fat and muscle. Because the amount of muscle you have determines your metabolism you only want to get rid of the fat - otherwise the weight will come back quicker and be even harder to get rid of. If you want to retain 100% of your muscle while losing weight, I would send you to this site - I have many friends that have used this and now swear by it (You can also use it to maintain once you get to your 115 lbs.):

This diet sounds good, just stick with it and you should start seeing results. I'm trying to loose weight but I don't have any self control when it comes to food. I wish I can make a strict diet plan like you have for myself!
