What`s gonna happen to me if i restrict intake of carbs severely?!

Question: You'll lose a lot of water weight. You'll feel tired. You'll crave carbohydrates like no other. You'll start to develop an acetone smell on your breath from ketone formation. Don't severely restrict carbohydrates, no matter what some fad diet or body builder tells you. You don't need high carbs...you don't need zero carbs.....but you do need a few here and there.

Not good. Your body NEEDS carbs. Restricting any major food source is bad for your health and often hinders weight loss efforts. The trick is to eat low-GI carbs like whole grains and fresh fruits and vegetables. Avoid anything white (like flour, sugar, rice and potatoes) as much as possible.

soon you will loose some pounds, then maybe in a week or so, your body will begin to shut down the fat burning off your stored fat, because it realizes that there is no new fat coming in, so it goes in survival mode. while in this mode, you will find it difficult to loose lots of weight.

this is really bad because when you do decide to eat, and believe me you will sooner or later, the body automatically stores all the fat because, remember, it is in survival mode, it thinks that soon there will be no more food coming in, so it must store it, therefore you will gain weight fast each time you eat.

best way is to eat 5 or 6 times a day, but very small portions.

i have found that the best way for me is to simply count the calories i'm eating and just make sure i have burned more than i ate at the end of the day. i was loosing 1 to 2 lbs each week. basically if i found that i had high calorie intake that day, i would just get on the treadmill for some quick sprints.

this worked out well because i thought i can eat whatever i wanted still, and that was true, except that at the end of the day, when i had to burn off what i ate, i realized how much harder it is to burn it than to eat it, so next day when i wanted to eat something high in calories i immediately thought of how hard i would have to work out that evening. so, instead of eating the whole candy bar, i would take 2 bites and throw it away NOT save the remaining (that will tempt you later) This worked very well for me.

the hardest part was getting the mind set that I HAVE TO burn off the excess calories EACH NIGHT before i can go to bed. and trust me, if you can do this, it will automatically make you think twice about what you put in your mouth next time you eat.

good luck

yes, listen to Jason B!! he is right, dont cut them out all the way, just have a low carb intake, and try to eat them early in the day, never late or close to the time you sleep.
