Whats a Good Appetite Suppresant?!


Question: Hello. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good appitite suppressant. I always am hungry and i hate it. I get so depressed cause i really want to lose wieght. I eat dinner breakfast or whatever and i get full with normal portions, like really full but then 30 minutes to an hour later i am SUPER hungry again.

I really need some help. Any suggestions? Thank you soooo much :)

It can be food, pills or whatever! lol I heard Hoodia works does it?

I own a health and nutrition business and have taught fitness. Several things:
1. Yes, hoodia does work. Make sure you get it from a reputable source with a solid health and scientific background, though, or it could come back to bite you.
2. If it has been a couple of hours since you last ate, exercise is a great appetite suppresant. You will find that when you get a little hungry, if you do something that will get your heart rate up to 80% of max for 15 - 30 minutes, after you cool down, you will not have the appetite that you did before you started. This is also a good trick to do before you eat, because you will find that you will not have the appetite and will be wanting to control your portions better.
3. Another great appetite suppressant is, believe it or not, orange juice! I lost 37 pounds in 1997 and found that orange juice was a great substitute for those hunger pangs. Even better is a mug of orange juice heated in the microwave with just a huge mass of cinnamon in it. The cinnamon is a natural sweetener, without the calories, and is also an appetite killer - and is absolutely yummy!!!
4. Drinking a lot of water - at least half your body weight in ounces per day - will also help with your appetite. That means, for instance, if you weigh 120 pounds you would drink 60 ounces of water per day - or three 20 ounce bottles per day.

Taking an appetite suppressant is not a good idea.

They are addictive.

Many are illegal.

You could end up with mental problems as they are a stimulant, which alter you normal brain patterns.

If you do stop manage to stop taking them you would put all the weight back on.

You should consider going on a calorie controlled diet and taking up an exercise program that you like doing.

Swimming or cycling or aerobics.

Please dont go down this avenue look at Britney Spears and all she has lost due to taking a cocktail of drugs.

I know this is not what you want to hear but appetite suppressants and dangerous.

I have not really heard good things about hoodia. There are some reviews of various hoodia products over at nutritionaltree.com. Go search for hoodia and it will show different brands and what people have said about them.
