How do you stay motivated when it comes to weight loss?!

Question: What do you do to stay motivated to lose weight and stay fit?

Keep your goals in front of you. Set realistic short term goals and reward yourself with something that you really enjoy doing after achieving them. For example, if you stick to your caloric goal all week, treat yourself to a movie or whatever you enjoy doing (skip the popcorn and candy though). If you don't stick to it, hold yourself accountable and go for it the next week. Do the same for your exercise routine and anything else that's important to you.

Along with that suggestion, I personally ask myself, "What do you want the end result to be?" and I re-focus on what I hope to achieve long term.

The last suggestion would be to confide your goals in someone that you trust and that will hold you accountable. This is the ultimate step to motivation, as it will put your honor on the line.

Keep in mind that no one and I mean NO ONE, meets their goals 100% of the time. Everyone fails and fails and fails until they eventually succeed. The key is to NEVER QUIT!! It's ok to get discouraged, but don't stay down too long. Get back in it, re-aim and try again; as many times as it takes.

You can do it.

fill up on fruits, veggies, and whole grains. join a gym, jog every morning, or exercise however you'd like. get rid of all the junk food and sugar packed food. moderation is key!! good luck.

I enjoy working out so that isn't hard. But eating right is tough. I just remember the results and push through it.

just make exercise a habit, then eventually you'll feel bad for everytime you dont exercise and eat right.

oh and always keep your goals in mind (like picturing how good you'll look)

this is the one thing i struggle with!

why don't you try taking a picture of yourself and stick it somewhere obvious (say your fridge door) and beside it stick a picture of someone with the kind of body that you're aiming for?
or take up a new active hobby that you really enjoy.

Dammit I wish I knew. That is my biggest hurdle! I wake up and don't want to exercise so I drag myself out of bed and when I get back I'm like Wow that was really good and you'd think that would be enough to keep me motivated but the next morning it's just the same thing!!
I'm trying the mental thing at the moment, the one that goes "The only person that can make you healthy is you" etc and picturing myself in hot little dresses and tight jeans lol

I know that doesn't really answer your question but just try the mental thing out :)

Good luck

work out with someone who know what they are doing and motivate. Hire a trainer the number one best one to stay motivated they will be there with you everyday pushing you teaching you.

Step 1 : "Will power" acts as an ignition key.

Step 2 : Motivation comes with the result - when you see that weighing machine needle has gone down, you are more active and healthy...

Step 3 : Keep control over what you take (from five senses), have good sound sleep and live with God.
