I'm too thin!?!


Question: I'm a guy, I'm 5'10" and about 140lbs. I'm always told how thin I am "you don't eat enough" blah, blah, blah. I don't like being this thin and take great offense to it when people point it out. I don't tell people "wow, are you fat!!! why don't you try eating a salad?"

There are a million programs and products for people to lose weight, but there aren't any real programs or products for people to gain weight that I know of.

any ideas?

BTW, I eat like a horse and just don't gain weight, I'm mid 30's and healthy. My dad was the same way until his late 40's when his metabolism switched over.

I'm the same way -- people seem to think it's okay to make smartass remarks about your weight if you happen to be slim. If you're fat, however, it's taboo.

As long as my body is healthy, I don't give a feck what society tells me I should look like.

You just have a high matabalism and thier jealous tell em to get over it!!

I think you are lucky ,, and that it is alot healthier to be slim than chubby or overweight.. You should hit the gym.. and eat alot of protein.. atleast 6 meals a day.. not huge meals.. and eat every 2 to 3 hours. u should put on good weight.. on ur muscles.. dont get fat.. thats wack.. the girls will run away..lol

It's fine.

I'm 6'2" and only 120 lbs. So be happy - you're perfectly healthy.

If you want to put on weight, work out and put it on in muscle.

BULK ! join and gym and do some weight lifting - you'll probably stay thin but be more toned so that will give your figure a boost and your confidence.

P.S anyone who goes 'arrghhh you're too thin, you need to eat more' is someone who is jealous!

It can be very hard for some people to gain weight because they have a very fast metabolism. My husband was like that and he ate all of the time. I finally bought him a weight gainer shake made by Weider and he drank 2 each day and finally did gain the weight he needed to gain.

its just your metabolism, not too much you can do about it. you can try building more muscle, which will make you look heavier.

Lucky you! take protein shakes and check at a health food store there are products called weight on
