How can tennis condition your body?!

Question: How can tennis condition your body?
I am 14, male, 5'7, and 153 pounds. I really want to start to condition myself. I was looking for a sport that has everything that i want to achieve. I just want to know if this sport can get you stronger, run faster, increase balance and stamina, get one's body more flexible, get better hand eye coordination, and get faster reflexes? If this is not the sport for me then what is? Best answer will receive 10 points! So please help me! :)

I've been playing tennis for five years. It is the all-in-one sport. YOU MUST DO IT. Conditioning will make you run faster, increase balance and stamina. Stretching (a huge part of tennis) will get you flexible. Playing games will give you better hand-eye coordination and get faster reflexes. Conditioning and playing games will take up the most time.

If you're 14, I'm pretty sure you're in high school. There will be games and you will WANT to train to beat other schools. Also, your practices (when I was in high school, they were 2-3 hours everyday) will count as workouts. So no need to go to the gym.

You'll have nice manly arms and chicks will be all up over you in no time.

Walking and swimming are the best. Tennis is GREAT too! If you enjoy tennis, you can't go wrong with that!

Good luck! :)

I play tennis, and tennis is not easy! If you are going to play it at your highschool, they will most likely make all you guys condition a lot! You will be doing a lot of running, situps, etc. But yes, as you get better at tennis, you automatically get better reflexes and balance. You also build up your endurance after playing a 2 hour long game. Have fun with it!
