My weight..?!


Question: I am a male, 15 years old, about 5 foot 6 and I often get funny comments about my weight. I've been called fat and anorexic. I see myself as quite normal but evidently other don't. Whenever I get these comments I don't pay attention but my weight always drops, like I'm subconciesely speeding up my metabolism or something. I weight between 8.5 and 9 stone, I do a lot of exercise so my muscle mass is quite high. I've been called too fat and too skinny and I don't know how I'd tell. Do these figures look alright to you? Can you think of an explaination of why I get these bipolar comments? Thanks in advance :)

Your figures look perfectly healthy to me :)
If you fill in your stats on this page then you'll see that you have a healthy BMI http://www.extrapounds.com/iwc.htm

BMI is Body Mass Index and is a good indicator as to whether you are a healthy weight.

You sound like you are happy in your own appearance. I don't think you have anything to worry about and don't think you should pay much attention to those comments :)

I know every one says this but whoever calls you fat are really jealous of you. I'd say your too skinny if most of it's muscle.

you shouldn't worry about this if you arnt 18 yet your body is still changing alot

but all in all
8.8 stones ins the minimum healthy weight for your height according to http://www.weightwatchers.com/health/asm...

and using Google to convert between pounds and stones
so basically your in the healthy weight range, so dont worry about it ! !
