Has anyone ever experienced this while walking for a while?!

Question: Im 16 years old and weight 261 pounds. Im 5'9. I started walking everyday for about 30 minutes. And I am trying to become more active. The past week ive been shoveling snow and havent been able to walk. But I guess thats good excersise too. But I usually used to sit inside the house and pig out on junk food and being constipated. But after I noticied that after walking, and I sit inside, I just want to go out and walk. Its like I go nuts when I cant walk. Is this my body in the habbit of walking? Im getting a treadmill next month.

first of all, thats great your doing well taking the right steps, i am like that also, if i dont run or work out i get anxious and feel sluggish and irratated, i think it is mostly in your mind, but that is a good thing- it is better that you think about how you want to be walking when your not than how you want to be sitting around when your walking. buying a treadmill is a good idea, because it is so convenient so you know you can get your walk in every day, cheaper treadmills are great as far as taking up minimal space, your link cuts out, but a cheaper one would probably be good for your needs. also, if you dont want to or cant walk for a day, try other cardio, just to mix it up, shoveling is good, mowing the lawn or raking leaves depending on the season, and there are some good cardio dvds out there that contain all levels of intensity by using areobics like different body engaging stepping moves and so on. but your doing good for yourself by wanting to do what your doing so keep it up and it is normal to get used to being active and want to do it more and more

habits are hard to break.

BUT when they are GOOD habits...that is GOOD !!!

Your body gets used to walking so when you don't walk your brain tells you to go.

It's caused by endorphins!

Yes that happens. Good for you, keep moving that is the most important part. I've noticed when a large person can move well they appear smaller than they are. I think that may be because people expect big people to move like they are pregnant or something.
