how much muscle is gained depends on the diet of the individual and the time in training. increasing muscle mass is 80% diet going to the gym and lifting heavy is the easy part. it's much easier for newbies to gain muscle mass as the body is in it's highest untrained state so gains in strength and mass can come very rapidly with a proper high calorie diet and progressive resistance training program. the longer the time in the sport the slower gains comes as the trainer reaches the natural genetic potential.

the first 10-14 days on creatine body weight increases on the scale will be from increased cellular hydration. the only way to truly "know" when you are gaining muscle is by monitoring your body fat %. counting calories makes gaining and losing weight so easy when you consume the right foods.

I learned in a&p that steroids are really bad for you b/c they are nothing more than a man made hormone. If creatin is a steroid it could throw your bodys homeostasis off. In other words it can speed up processes in your body that should only work at a certain rate and poss. cause a heart attack.
Best to stay away and eat lots of carbs and excercise regularly. :)

Give or take no more than 5lbs pounds. That is a rough estimation.
Do not fall for supplement companies claims of 10 or even 20lbs +.
