Does using an eliptical help tone thighs and butt?!

Question: If not, then what does and is safe for a pregnant woman?

It does help tone everything but if you really wanted to focus on toning your butt and thighs you should do some leg work outs. But you still need to combine cardio but due to the fact that your pregnant avoid using the stepper and doing hardcore running. The eliptical is very safe for you don't increase the speed too hard just take it easy and make sure you drink lots of water and always focus on breathing right! As for weight training the same very light weights and try not do anything that makes you lie down on a supine position for more than 5 minutes. If you dont enjoy the eliptical walking on the tredmil is good for your condition right now! Enjoy:)

ellpitical machines definately help to tone the butt and thighs, especially if you alternate between going forward and backward. Using this while pregnant is ok as long as you aren't going full blast on the machine.

eliptical exercises tend to be good for hips, thighs, and other locations... since they are easy on the joints they are excellent for pregnant women... aquatics is also a good choice when pregnant, exercise in general is good, but don't over do stuff (releasing large quantities of lactic acid during pregnancy may not be good for an infant, but exercising/working out during pregnancy tends to lead to a healthier child and tends to return the mother's body back to normal in a fraction of the average time, and with less stretch marks... be sure to use an anti-stretch mark cream or belly butter when pregnant to keep stretch marks at a minimum, suggest those that state they are safe to use during pregnancy)
