Thigh problems?!


Question: what excercise can you do to make your thighs thinner? cause i kinda inherited thunder thighs from my mom's side and its really annoying to have disproportioned legs

Poor chick.. Reduce your salt intake, 1 of the main causes of big thighs is too much salt in your diet..
Also reduce your calorie intake, cycling always works for me, without fail, and running, make sure you don't do any weight baring exercises..
Walk everywhere, but the key thing is eat less....

Big thighs are sexy, but suit yourself...

To avoid building muscle as much as possible, focus on cardio exercise for your legs to burn fat, probably running or an elliptical machine will build the least amount of muscle. Weights & weight machines will probably just add more bulk.

The first answer is a good one, an eliptical machine is one of the best things to use to tone rather than build muscle.

Cycling and spinning have helped me. I also have seen results with ballet oriented exercises. There's a reason that dancers have such great legs! There are many ballet workout DVDs available. I like Bar Method, Balletone, Callanetics and Fluidity. You can beat genetics and have thinner thighs. Good luck to you!
