I want to lose weight by eating raw fruits. What else I can eat that has 50 calo!

Question: are you ready?

light bread (45cal a slice)
egg white(15cal) ---make an egg white omelet
turkey slice wrapped in lettuce(~20cal)
celery, carrot sticks, steamed veggies
laughing cow light cheese wedge(30cal)
kosher dill pickle(10cal)
wasa light rye crispbread (15cal)
shirataki noodles(0cal)
broth(0cal)
sugar-free jello (10cal)
sugar-free popsicles(20cal)/ fudge pops(40?cal)

There's a lot out there...just make sure you check your portion sizes and read labels. Good luck.

(the wasa crispbread are pretty much like crackers and they're big so you can break them up. I also like to use a couple wheat thins w/the laughing cow cheese.)

drink water zero calories

For a snack?(meals should have mch more calories.)

Quaker Rice cakes(flavored ones anyway, like peanut butter chocolate chip) are always nice(plain ones are bland, like cardboard) but they have 60 calories a cake. Atkins snackbars are good too.

Just remember, aim for 1,200-1,500 calories a day too lose weight(depending on age and height), eating under ,1000 can damage you, send your body into starvation mode and you will store all of your calories as fat calories, and end up gaining weight in the end when you start to eat again. Stay healthy...

Read how to lose weight simply yet effectively on this site...you will be amazed

Fruit can be high in carbs which break down as sugar and can turn into fat. Strawberries and watermelon are lower in carbs. Check the Atkins Diet books for details on carbs in food.

Increase protien, lower carb intake and increase your level of exercise. No booze...empty calories.

If raw fruits are all you plan on eating, it's a very bad idea.

As with everything else in life, common sense applies with losing weight as well.

You need to make sure you are getting enough calcium by adding things such as milk, yogurt, cottage cheese, low or non fat cheese and supplements to your diet.

You need to make sure you are getting 100% whole grains such as cereals, breads and pastas for fiber and B vitamins etc.

You need to make sure you get some fat in your diet. Your body needs a certain amount of fat to function properly.

You don't have to eat saturated fats, but I would recommend you make sure you get poly or mono unsaturated fats in your diet.

Just a few examples of mono unsaturated fat would be nuts, olive oil, avocados and Smart Balance spread etc.

You need to make sure you're getting enough protein, too.

If you eat only fruit, you will lose precious muscle mass and not just fat because your body needs protein to build and maintain muscle, and the more muscle you have the faster your metabolism, so you don't want to risk losing muscle.

Lean sources of protein include skinless white chicken meat, turkey and eggs, especially egg whites. Egg whites are rich in protein and low in calories. Cottage cheese is an excellent low calorie protein source. Of course, there's fish too, if you like fish.

Your body also needs iron, and one of the best ways to become anemic is by fad dieting.

The best thing to do is to eat a balance diet, just eat less and exercise.

With regards to caloric intake, a 1200 calorie a day diet should not be done for more than 6 weeks because it's very hard to get all the necessary nutrients your body needs with only 1200 calories a day, and I certainly wouldn't go below that.

1300 to 1500 calories a day is considered a healthy caloric range for weight loss, and if you're a young person (under age 42), you should have a pretty good metabolism, so I would worry too much about eating 1300 to 1500 calories a day, especially if you are exercising. And, frankly, if you're young, I would eat 1500 calories a day.

I would also recommend you take a multivitamin every day.

I speak from years and years of experience, fad diets don't work. They may work temporarily but they always backfire (Remember, the only difference between "fad" and "fat" is a T).

It's much better for your body's health and your weight in the long run if you learn to eat a healthy well balanced diet-- a way of eating you can sustain for a lifetime.

All you have to do is eat healthy, eat less and exercise. It really is that simple.

Not to mention, one of the great things about eating healthy while losing weight is you feel so much better. You have more energy, don't get hungry as much and don't end up depleted of essential nutrients your body needs.

Make sure you drink enough water too to stay hydrated because when we get dehydrated quite often we end up thinking we're hungry when what our body really needs is fluids.

But, don't drink excessive amounts of water either. If your urine is clear, you are drinking too much and it can start to strain the kidneys.

Your urine should be a pale yellow.

I recommend you research nutrition and learn more about what a healthy diet is. The internet is a great resource you have at your fingertips.

Also, check out Calorieking.com. It's an amazing website that has the calorie counts and nutritional information for just about everything you can imagine. I use the site all the time when I am counting calories.
