Are Lean Cuisine or Smart one meals similar to being on Nutrisystem?!

Question: I am starting Weight Watchers on Monday and was considering before about getting on Nutrisystem. (Until I saw the price of it). Was just wondering though if I ate a Lean Cuisine or Smart one meal for lunch and dinner if it would be similar to being on the Nutrisystem plan?...I use to be on WW this past summer and lost 8 lbs in about a month in a half, so I know it works, just got to stick with it and I really liked the frozen meals because they are already portion controlled and have the points total on them. So I just wondering if anyone else who is on Weight Watchers has tried this and had good results..??..

I love lean cuisine, they claim to have no preservatives and always seem to have a good portion of protein and vegetables.

Lean Cuisines have the weight watchers points on them, my favorites are Mediterranean chicken (only 4 points) and cheese lasagna with chicken scalopini, yummy not even 300 Cal.

Smart ones are nasty, nasty, eww, not good quality, eww again !

Weight watchers is very good choice, I've heard nutrisystem is not a good deal, because they give you food, and some of it you need to prepare and shop.

A good idea with weight watchers is to eat fruit and vegetables on the side with the lean cuisines anyways.

No need to nutrisystem.

I think it probably is...they just plan your diet for you on Nutrisystem...you can do the same thing. It's the total calories per day, being sure you eat enough protein and complex carbs...not the simple ones that turn to fat easily. So yes...I think it could be done.

A diet I have been trying (when I can stay on it) is protein at every meal, and at every snack time....you eat every three hours...and it really works. You stay off of bread dairy products, and high fat....eat salads, fresh vegetables, and fruit....so put some of that with your meals.....

No, actually it is more like using weight watchers. The differentce in the two is nutrasystem claims to have ingredients in their food that will speed your weith loss where as weight watchers give you a certain point restriction and if you stay within that boundary you are expected to lose weight do to balance eating. Like having the correct amount of each of the food groups needed fo your body to use the nutrients and turn them into energy and then in turn burn it off as excess fat. I hope I helped.
