What if you think you're literally starving but your not anorexic?!


Question: im a fat kid.
a fat kid thats been dieting.
but for the past couple of days i've been sick.
like...four days tops.
no vomiting or anything.
but i've barely eaten more than 300 calories daily cause the thought of food makes me sick.
well...
i went from 267 to 251 in those 4 days.
my sister is happy for me,
but thats a serious drop isnt it?
i mean thats 15 pounds in 4 days. doesnt that usually take 5 or 6 weeks to lose?

Correction : You ARE becoming anorexic. You need at least 1200 calories a day, AT LEAST. Just because you're a "fat kid" doesn't mean you aren't anorexic - Mental disorders don't limit themselves to painfully skinny people only.

Yes, that drop is TOO MUCH. Healthy weight loss is 1-4 lbs a week, depending on your current size. You need to start eating more - Try about 1600 calories a day. Please!

EDIT: You mean it makes you sick because you feel "fat", or because you're literally sick, like the flu? If the latter, then just return to normal eating when you feel better.

i dont think that would be considered anorexic, but if you become anorexic then you will be very sick! its not good!

Dieting = not good. Dieting is a temporary fix. Nobody goes on a diet for their whole life. The moment you get off a diet, the weight will most likely come back. Eating healthy is a different story. Eating healthy is when you eat full meals but with veggies and whole grains and fruits. That's how a person can properly lose weight, along with exercise.

You know, being anorexic doesn't always mean being skinny. It means you starve yourself to the point where you try to eat but you can't. You're probably on your way to having anorexia.

My friend's mom has this thing with her thiroid. It can be overactive or underactive. It controlls your eating!!!!!!. overactive makes you eat alot more then you have to. Under active you eat not enough and if you eat more then neede then u throw it up. You might have an underative thiroid. Ask a doctor. You can get a catscane and the doctors can see your thiroid
