Get in shape and lose alot of weight the fastest way possible?!

diet and supplements:

Avoid fats as much as possible as well as simple carbs (sugars). Proteins will almost never be converted to fat, and complex carbs (breads and veggies) can be converted to fat if you are inactive and have a slow metabolism.

Put yourself on a high protein diet. eat at least 5 small, high protein meals a day (some of these can be protein bars or shakes). Also, invest in creatine, NO and glutamine. take creatine and NO just before you work out and glutamine just after. My favorite products are these:

protein: ON's 100% Gold Standard Whey (for during the day)
Cytosport's Muscle Milk (just before bed)

Creatine and NO: BSN's NO Xplode

Glutamine: BSN's Cellmass

Workout:

workout as often as possible, 4-6 days a week. not everyday, though. you could overtrain. workout for about an hour, but not more, again you could risk overtraining.

make each set 2 opposing muscle groups, ie. chest/back, biceps/triceps, upper abs/lower abs. this way, you get more work done in less time and you dont have to wait between sets.

Cycle weights. for the first 2 weeks, do low weight, low set, high rep. for example 20lbs bar curls followed by 20lbs lying tricep extensions 3 sets 10 reps.

next 2 weeks mid weight mid set mid rep. in our example 25lbs BC's followed by TE's 4 sets 8 reps.

next 2 weeks high weight, high set, low rep. our example again, 30lbs BCs followed by 30lbs TEs, 5 sets 6 reps

rest 1 week and start over.

you will start to see results in two weeks or less. and if you continuously change your workout as i've described, the results will continue to come.

Do cardio first thing in the morning for about 30 minutes to an hour. Do it before you eat, or you lose the benefit of cardio in the morning. The reason is, before you eat, your muscles have very little glycogen, which must be burned before you begin to burn your fat stores. for this reason, cardio is up to 300% more effective in the morning

and educate yourself to learn more. read some books (i recommend the body sculpting bible for men) and visit bodybuilding.com. this is what i've found works best for me through EXPERIENCE, so the more you learn, the more you can expiriment and discover what works best for you

getting 'in shape' isnt something you can do quickly im afaid

just change your lifestyle and make a lifelong adjust to the way you live

eat healthy foods such as veggies, lean meats, nuts, fish

exercise regularly

drink lots of water

get lots of sleep

dont have too much alcohol/smoke/do drugs

running is the best way to lose weight and get fit .talking six miles or more every other day

The fastest way to lose weight is to go into space. Bam, you lose 50 kilos in just a day!

The best way to lose weight and get in shape is not fast...it's a lifelong journey.

Start slow, low and short. Slightly increase pace/weight weekly. I guess what I'm trying to get at is you should be thinking of spring/summer 2009, not 2008. Good luck.

its doesn't happen very quick. best way is to eat healthy and work out. don't be like 90% of the people that just do one.

Losing weight the fastest way possible is usually temporary weight loss.

If you want permanent weight loss then slow and sure is the key. This is also the healthiest way.

Do strength training 3 times per week (Mon, Wed & Fri) for about 30 minutes. You need to have a days rest in between workouts to give your muscle time to heal, when they heal they grow back bigger.

Did you know that adding one extra pound of muscle will help you burn 50 calories per day! So what about 6 pounds of muscle?!?!? A whopping 300 cals per day!
