No! that won't work. Sure, you may be able to lose weight if your total caloric intake is lower than the calories burned each day.

Atkins requires your body to go into a state of ketosis. This is why you have to go through the first 2 weeks of extremely low carbs. You'll never get there if you go one on and one off.

most people gain weight after atkins so i wouldn't recommend it. the best way to lose is to make small changes in your diet consistently and eat smaller portions. and don't forget to exercise.

well you shouldnt do atkins it could be bad because you are not getting enough nutrients. so you should just get a balanced diet with some exercise.

I would say no, I'm not an expert on the subject, but I'm pretty sure the only way to lose weight is to eat healthy and exercise frequently. There's usually never an easy way out...

No, you should see your doctor for your calorie intake suggestion but it is usually 1500 calories a day. If you'll eat 3 meals a day plus 2 snacks and get 1500 calories plus walk at least 15 minutes gradually walking up to 1/2 hour - an hour each day you will lose the weight and feel great in time. the best way to do it is diet for 9 days and for 3 days eat whatever you want. while dieting, your body goes into shock and stops releasing fat. when you start eating whatever you want, it releases the fat and you can burn it off. just make sure when you are not on the diet, workout as much as you can.

The Atkins diet is very hard on your organs. If your healthy the Atkins can seem ok but the toll it will take on your system over a period of time, is not worth it . Shoot for a healthy diet. Concentrate on whole grain bread and cereal, fresh fruit and Vegetables. Stay away from empty calorie food. Throw away your micro wave, it super heats food and destroys much of the food value.
Start some type of exercise routine. Do something you enjoy.
Try walking or running for at least 30 minutes a day. Aerobic exercise such as walking and or running is an excellent way to burn calories.
