Which is more beneficial? Walking 5 miles or Biking 5 Miles?!

I would guess that walking 5 miles burns more calories than riding a bike 5 miles. You'll get to the same destination, but the walking will take longer.
But if compare which is better in a set time, biking would burn more. (which is more beneficial, walking for 60 mins or biking for 60 mins)
Walking would likely be the most beneficial as you are carrying your weight and on a bicycle it is carrying most of your weight! Also you are rolling on the wheels and less revolutions of your legs are required to get you that five miles! It would take more steps walking than revolutions on the bike! The benefit of doing it on a bike might be equaled or greater than walking if you were putting maximum effort in to it, or riding as fast as you can!
