Is the food considered as healthy food?

There is a lot of controversy on this subject right now. There is a huge organic movement going and several books about "modified" food on the market.

You should pick one up if you want to know more.

According to these books "modified" food isn't real food. It's chemicals that large food companies put in to produce cheaper, faster, more fattening food.
The idea is the reason americans are so fat is because all the crap in our food.
And when you eat a "modified" cow... guess where those "modified" chemicals go? Into you.

My mom has been on an organic diet for a while... says she's never felt better. She was already a skinny woman but lost another 10lbs on it. Most celebs are on organic diets as well. And they are suppose to know the best. May tell us something?

I recently went to Italy and ate a huge load of cheese, chocolate and pork... all supposedly organic. I didn't gain a pound.. I was shocked. I would have gained 10 here.

NO! modified means its altered. Not a good sign. Stay away.

to be technical only whole foods are truly "healthy" as they are naturally occurring. basically the shorter the list of ingredients in a food item the healthier is it for you. the less chemicals and additives in your diet the healthier you will be.
