Porridge for breakfast?!


Question: Is it ok to have one serving of porridge for breakfast with one and a quarter cups of rice milk (vegan) or water? No sugar or anything else added.

Will this make me gain weight? And approx how long will it take to burn off?

Porridge is probably the best breakfast you can have.It is a complex carb and releases energ into your blood slowly and for longer.This gives you a even and regular supply of energy throughout the morning.

Oh, and I forgot to add, too many carbohydrates. If you want to lose weight, eat a lot of protein and healthy fats (low saturation, preferably)

wow, you are making me hungry. really dear, just eat a balanced meal every meal. Don't skimp on the calories, you will starve yourself, and then anything you eat will be stored by your body, and you won't lose weight, and you could very well gain weight.

not gain weight but help you very good specially with bananas or strawberries

It will not make you gain weight if you quit before you're stuffed. That goes for every meal. You eat slowly when you're hungry, and you stop when you're content. :)

I don't think it's bad for your weight
