How do I drop my body fat percentage from 11 to around 5%?!

Question: I'm 5'10 and I weigh 142. I have a very fast metabolism. I never gain a lot of weight but I also seem unable to drop fat in the places I want. I'm cut and all but I am a slight bit soft under the navel and hip. Nothing even serious I just want to be vascular and look ripped.

I'm on muscle milk if that matters and I lift 5 days out of the week.

That seems excessive, 5% is essential body fat for a man. What about just aiming to between 7% and 9%. You need that little extra storage fat in case you get sick. Plus too low body fat can lead to other problems.

So at 5ft10 and 142lb you have approx 15.5lb of fat and approx 126.5lb of lean mass. Seems to me that you should just keep trying to build up your muscle mass. Obviously it's not something that you will achieve overnight, but just keep lifting the weights and ensure you are getting at least 130g of protein a day. If you are an ectomorph you need to lift heavy to see an increase in the size of your muscles.

first of all forget about dropping your body fat further because it will be very dangerous to your health, and lifting 5 times a week is too much, you are probably burning far too many calories and you are not giving your body enough time to repair itself.Cut back to 3 times a week and get more rest. You will build more muscle this way,and you will look better.Do not try to train with the routines that professionals do because they have fantastic genetics, great diets and probably steroids too.You are still growing so doing what you are doing will hinder your growth.Build lots of muscle first focusing on compound exercises then get cut up.

Ok if I'm reading your question right then a body fat percentage of 5% leaves you incredibly underweight. If you're 5'10'' and weigh 142, that gives you a 20.4% body fat, which is considered normal for someone your height. Anything less than 18.5% is underweight and anything over 25% is considered overweight. Hope this helps.

Just work on your abs and some weights.. Go to a gym and see what they would tell you but I think only being 11% is pure heaven.. Lucky you.... My two step kids have this same little problem in the same areas.. They are 22 and 29.... They just are built this way.. Like their dad... No matter how thin or how much exercise this little tiny area never gets tight... IF it bothers you after you are 18 or how ever old you are, I would suggest lipo sucken...Men do get it too..
I have seen a couple guys after lipo and this took care of this problem... They had tried everything.... Besides a little extra padding on guys is nice.....
