I'm trying to lose some weight? Some meal ideas for breakfast and lunch?!


Question: Something easy please. My mom's not big on cooking.
I'm fifteen years old. i'd like to lose about 16 pounds by the summer. I run on the treadmill for 20 minutes 4 days a week. I do about 200 situps and 200 pushups a week. I kind of want soup for lunch today. What's a good soup that will help me lose weight? Also, give lots of other ideas please!

for breakfasts eat alot of fruit. also i get the whole grain eggo waffles and put a little bit of peanut butter on them. i know that's not the lowest carb/fat diet but with the fruit it's actualyl really good for you and won't make you as hungry the rest of the day. for soups, make sure it has veggies and make sure it's low sodium; the companies pack sodium in there just to make it taste better. for usual lunches like for school, sandwiches are good. no mayo and only lean meats like turkey. also, cheese is okay sometimes but not every day. and put lettuce on it to sneak in more veggies. those 100 calorie packs they sell nowadays are great too, just make sure you're not eating those instead of fruit and veggies. nuts are also really good as protein if you want to cut out some meat. good luck!

what evr you do walk ther and just try t ogo on a low carb diet.

I am not sure about soups, but I think it is Campbells that has a new soup out that is sponsored by weight watchers and actually has no points for that system. I think it is a chicken vegetable soup.
If you like oatmeal the Quacker Weight Control oatmeal is really yummy and has extra protein that will really help with your workouts for the day, it's pretty low on calories and it's really filling. Lunch is usually up in the air for me. I try to stick with a salad with an oil and vinager (or lowfat) dressing with chicken. Or even just grilled chicken strips. Don't forget to snack, unsalted nuts and veggies are great.
If you are really trying to lose weight try upping your cardio. that was my biggest mistake. you want to do at least 30 minutes of cardio, that is going to get your body through the glucose stores that it uses for instant energy and into burning fat so 30 minutes or more is ideal.

Cold cereal is great, Crispix, Special-K, Cheerios, among others are all good choices, since many of them are fat-free or nearly fat-free, they require no preparation, just pour it into a bowl and they are tasty. The only downside it they have a lot of carbohydrates in them and very little protein, so if you want to make the most out of a bowl of cereal, have it with skim milk and fruit or try it with some yogurt, also try to buy cereal that are made with whole grains (like Cheerios) and contain fiber, which will really help your digestive system function better.

u sholdn't jus work out all the time. u need a good balence dliet. u need to eat lots of fruit, eat wheat bread, and drinls lots and lots of water. jus working out it's good cuz u can jus work out and not lose any weight cuz ur not eating rite. so eat rite and work out. hope u acn lose weight. wurd!
