I have only taken the clear- gels. Since you can get omegas from any form of flax-seed it shouldn't make a difference. You can buy whole fax seed that you can put in different foods or buy it ground to a powder(probably what tablets are made of) for drinks). Be careful-flax an have a laxative effect on some ppl.
