I'm thirteen years old, and I feel over weight. What do I do?!


Question: I'm only thirteen but i am aso 117 pounds. It might not seem a lot, but beleive me it is. When I walk, my stomach and thighs jiggle. I'm not very good at diets but anything helps. HELP!

You do not need to diet at thirteen. Don't even think about it. Just simply try to cut back on the sugars and fats. (It's hard, I know). Just grab an orange instead of a twinkie. Drink more water and juices.. less caffine. It's not always what you eat, but how much you eat. You can still get a happy meal, just portion it. Get fruit instead of fries. Eat chicken instead of beef. You can still eat what you love, just eat in small amounts.

add to extra details how tall you are then everyone can answer because if you are like 5'4 then your average but it all depends..=]

yeah i believe u since i'm almost 14 and i weigh less than u, but i don't know how tall u are (not to make u feel bad or anything, sorry if it does). i'm not that good at dieting either. doing sit ups and crunches everyday, like 100 might help. control what u eat, give ur self a specific amount and don't eat more than that. also, don't eat before going to bed, that will make u gain weight and fat easily. hope this helps!

Diets are hard. The main thing is just to get over the fact about your weight. You're probably short like myself and have a few extra pounds because of your height. Don't worry about it. You're probably also still growing!
