If i am 5'4 and 138lbs...is that overweight? And if so, how much should I lo!


Question: according to one place I was reading the other day, this is within normal range for my age! Not sure if it is for younger people! Anything within a radius of 112 to 145 is ok!!

You might want to do more exercising tho. And buff the bod a bit. Walking or biking is great way to tone up the bod!! 3 or more days of the week for at least 30 minutes. Find a friend and do it every day for about an hour if you can find the time. It becomes a habit that is super hard to break, as if we should want to break good habits!!!

No, you are NOT overweight. You are the perfect weight for you height. =)

Stay away from the scale. How fit you are is more important than what you weigh. And remember that muscle weighs more that fat, so if you are muscular you might very well weigh more than you are "supposed" to.

I weigh the same thing, my doctor says that my bmi is in the perfect place.

Honey if I was 138 at MY height of 5'1" I would be better off than I am now! You have 3 inches on me, I am SURE you look fabulous!!!
