Go home or stay for lunch?!

Question: I'm in high school, should i go home or stay for lunch?
I have enough time to go home, eat a sandwich, refresh myself and come back, then like 5 minutes to talk to people. If i started staying for lunch I could probly meet new people, and talk to the girl I like a lot more. Buttt my best friend always wants to go home for lunch, should i risk staying?

Well could you do a bit of both? You could stay on days when you know your girl is there and when you know you have a conversation starter, and go home whenever else. If this is your best friend you could always talk to him about how he would feel if you stayed. If i were you I would stay, just because lunch is really the only social time of the day, but you could always go home a few days a week.

I think that you should do as you like. Your friend shouldn't control where you go or when. I understand that you don't want to upset them, but you have a life too. Maybe you could try going home every other day, and staying at school the other days. If your friend doesn't understand, sit down and talk to them, explaining that you would like to stay at school for lunch at least some days during the week, and see if you could work something out.

go home some days and stay some days

bring your friends home with you!

just stay

why don't you do both one day you go home and another you stay
