How much weight could you lose?!


Question: Well, I don't want any answers like "Oh, don't bother its not healthy" or whatever because its my choice.

How much weight could you lose if you didn't eat for 2 and a half days, and also did about 3 hours of exercise?

It depends on your size. I normally lose 2 pounds a day without exercise when I starve myself. AS for it being loss of water weight, I'm not sure, because I was insanely thirsty those days and drank over 8 glasses daily.
So, if you don't eat for 2 days and exercise a ton, maybe 5 or 6 pounds? Again, it all depends on your current size. If you're very large, you burn a ton of calories when you exercise. If you have almost no fat, you burn very little.

good question i have no idea.... maybe like 2 pounds, but it is hard on your body...

you would lose weight but not fat. you would be burning your muscle away.
so fundamentally you would be getting fatter because your muscle - fat ratio would be imbalanced imporperly.

I am not sure of the exact amount of weight but i know people who have used starvation as a method and one of them inparticular lost 30lbs in 2months. . . Obviously you could not go 2 months without eating at all so you would have to drink lots of water and eat small portions of fruits or vegtibles from time to time... If you plan to be exersizeing it should not take long for the pounds to drop off BUT you may puke or passout with no food. Food gives you energy so without it you may become tired, weak, sick, dizzy and or misrable.

P.S : When you starve yourself your body goes into survival mode and stores away any fat it possiblie can and then when you do eat again you gain back the weight you lost plus some!!

This is not a good idea!!

I think that you'd lose all of your water but you wouldnt lose any fat. When you don't feed your body, it panics and holds on to its stores of fat for nourishment. You'll probably run out of energy.

If you are determined to try it, at least drink water or juice for the two days to avoid dehydrating yourself. You will probably feel crummy though, because your body isn't used to not being fed.

You won't lose much. The body goes into survival mode and stops breaking stuff down so that it can last longer before it doesn't have a choice but to start cannibalizing your fat cells.

This also happens when you don't eat breakfast. The body believes that it probably won't be getting food for the rest of the day so it conserves the food it has and doesn't properly break down what you eat the rest of the day.

The best way to lose weight is to eat breakfast. Fasting won't help.
