I am trying to acheive a six pack by summer. Does anybody know any tips?!

I use to be out of shape just as you are my friend and just a short year ago I asked the same question that you are asking: how to get a six pack?

1) Well first if you are overweight you must lose the excess weight or else you are gonna have 0% at getting those abs that you so much desire to show off. And if you are just an average weight you already have the upper hand.

2) Many people think that you must do thousands of sit ups to get abs. This is false. Getting a good six pack is more than 60% diet and only 40% of working them out. So you are going to need to eat healthy foods that are low in fat and drink lots of water.

3) Cardio is also very important. Try to jump-rope for a 30 minute session taking short breaks when you get tired and then continuing. OR run a mile or two daily both of these will lower body % fat which is vital for getting the abdominal muscles to show.

4) follow the 8 minute ab routine. It is easy to find just go to youtube.com and type in "8 minute abs" it works great! I have been using that routine for about a year ago and my abs are great!!!!!

you dont do sit ups to get abs. Your ab muscles dont really grow. You get them more defined by diet and cardio. Go to this free site

yes. good diet. high in protein. cardio exercise. and crunches on a exercise ball would be good. leg raises too don't leave out lower abs.

run/jog pretty much everyday along with doing your situps.

My boyfriend was always fairly fit, but could never seem to get those abs he always wanted.
