Can I Walk For Excercise?!


Question: I was wondering, I can run for 30 minutes at a fast pace but I hate it. I'd rather walking than running, will walking for an hour or 30 minutes keep me in good shape just as running would? What should I keep doing, running, which i really hate or walking?

Walking at a fast pace is actually known to burn more calories- so yea, walk all you want! When you walk fast, the easier thing to do is run- your body wants to run. You use more muscles when you walk fast.

Walking is great exercise. You can mix it up by walking on different terrains, like grass, sand, pavement or sidewalk. This is a great way to work muscles you never knew you had! As long as you break a sweat, and elevate your heart rate, walking is great for your body!!!

Walking at a quick pace is a very effective exercise..
