Why are fad diets bad for you?!

Fad diets don't work because you WILL get the weight off, but you don't learn how to eat, so as soon as you go off the diet you WILL gain the weight back. Dieting is a lifestyle. You have to teach yourself what to eat. I lost 70 lbs last year, and before I started to diet, I would eat fast food 6 days a week, eat dinner out at least once a week, and live off pre packaged food. Now, I eat lots of whole grains, fresh fruits and veggies, and lots of lean protein. Now that I have reached my goal weight, I can of course, eat all things IN MODERATION. Also, for many people like myself, you need to deal with the reasons why you eat. It is more then just cutting the fat, I had to realize that I have a food addiction. Even still, to this day I hear myself saying ''You can eat that... you deserve it.'' When really what my body deserves is good sound nutrition.

beacuse most of them are just cleaver ways of starving yourself, which results in weight loss!! but its not good weight loss! BUT its not gonna last, and you will be very unhealthy! and in some cases they cause you to lose muscle and in return you get drastic weight loss, since muscle weighs more then fat!

Because eventually you will go off of them, and not only gain your weight back, but usually gain back more than you ever lost.
