Does anyone know any exercises that I could do to tighten up my abs as I am whee!

Question: I saw this exercise in a video.

Raise your arms over your head, in a kind of circle (think ballet). Sit up straight in a neutral position. Slowly and with control, contract your abs so that your shoulders hunch over a little, repeat. Make sure the movement is slow and in control. Make sure that your back is protected with the neutral position, shoulders back. sit up straight, breathe in and out slowly.

They have fitness dvds out for chair exercising.

Maybe you could buy something like this...

If you can twist your torso, hold a light broomstick behind your neck and twist to each side, tensing the side muscles (obliques) in your abs area. That will sort your love handles out!

ifyou have limited movement you could try the exercise where you suck your stomach in tight and then relax it out, very good for the muscles and toning abs

I do know that tightening them and letting them go can tighten them. Depends how much movement you have as well to do a variation. I'm not sure until I know that.

Hi
Wow! a.b.s. on a wheelchair, how fast can you go? seriously, have you thought about joining a sports club, apart from toning you up it's a way of meeting new friends, what! there isn't one in your area I hear you say.......well why not approach the council and start your own, advertise and rent a sports hall or school hall, whatever you decide to do good luck.
