Has anyone tried or know someone who has tried the "weight watchers" w!

Question: I am planning on joining weight watchers next week with a friend. i was wondering if anyone had success or failure stories while on the plan. Is it easy to follow? How much weight did you lose and at what rate? Expensive? are the results long lasting? I'm also gonna excersise as well so i hope i get decent results at least by summer

I was on WW last year and it was wonderful. The meetings are about $10 per week. You don't have to buy all their candy bars and diet books. I would recommend buying the starter pack though. It has dining out guides, points slider, exerciser slider and weekly tips. I lost 6 pounds my first week. I used the points system rather then core. It will work for you. And you will get results. Have faith in yourself. They also don't weigh you in front of everyone and embarrass you. It's well worth it. If you choose not to go to the meetings you can still do it at home. The meetings are more for support. You still buy your own food at the store. Tip: Lots of water, and Lean Cuisines. Plus you can still eat out, just count the points. Good luck to you.

If you follow the weight watchers plan (very easy to do) you will be thrilled with your results. It allows you to eat anything you want but you have to be accountable for how much of it you eat by tracking points.

I love this system and I'm sure you will too. I feel its one of the only balanced-diet weight loss system and that it teaches you to change your lifestyle, not just to go on a binge diet.

One thing you have to remember about this plan is that the only way it will work is if you're 100% honest with yourself about what you put in your mouth. You need to track absolutely everything you eat and you need to be honest with yourself about what you eat. If you're not ready to do that, it won't work for you.

I'd say best of luck but you don't need luck, you only need dedication and a healthy lifestyle and before you know it, the pounds will be falling off.

I tried the Weight Watchers plan a few months back...and I have to tell you, it works if you are committed to it.
You have to count all of your calories. I did the flex plan and I was only allowed 32 points for the day. It may not be a lot however, you will be amazed as to what foods you eat and how much calories and fat are involved. Anyhow, I like Weight Watchers, it taught me how to eat better and get back on track in watching my calories and fat content. I have lost 15 pounds the last 2 months. Now keep in mind, you do lose inches first before losing weight. Exercise is the key as well at eating right. I do an exercise video in the morning; walking at night, ride my bike,. you have to change up the exercise because your body become accustom to it. Also, keep in mind that 15 may not seem like a lot however it is because I have kept it off and still losing inches as well as weight. Good luck! and remember if this is something you really want, you will succeed in it.

I know a lady who joined weight watchers and she looks great it really worked for her.I don't know but I have heard that its kind of expensive. But with the results I've seen it must be worth it.
