According to modeling agencies that book plus size models, an hourglass figure means measurements that are 10 inches off. That the ideal that they look for in their models, but it's not always the case.
Example: 43-33-43.

Yes, it's possible. I have similar measurements. It's proof you can be large and still shapely and fit! There are too many people who either see one of two extremes in the body: either the stick figure size 0 near-cadavers on the catwalk... or the 500 lbs or more superobese "freaks" who haven't gotten off their couches in a decade.
Most of us fall somewhere in between.
Sure, there are some who will label you fat, but never mind those particular numnutz. Just eat right, and be sure to exercise everyday and find the best clothes possible to flatter your femininity! then walk proud....

I know you are not an hourglass because you are several inches bigger on the bottom than on the top and you also don't have a waist/hip ratio under 0.75. Hourglass would be 45-33-46 for example.
