HELP please! For how long and how many times a day should I work out?!


Question: I want to look great by June,but I won't know the best work out for my tummy and legs? And how many times and for how long should I do this? Please I gotta look good by June!! Please help!!! (thx in advance!)

Work out for at least 30 minutes a day about 5 days a week.

I personally like power walking.. or running.. if it's rainy outside.. or too cold, then I have a favirote DVD that I just got a few weeks ago, which I absolutely love !!

It's called the Wedding Workout and is put out by Women's Health and can be found on Amazon.

The lady who does the routine, is wonderful and down to earth.. and you can follow one of their standard work outs.. or do a custom work out.

They break the workouts up into
1. upper body,
2. lower body,
3. abs/core, and
4. Cardio.

If you do the standard work outs..
say you do the upper body..
it'll give you a warm up (4 minutes),
upper body is (12 minutes) and then
a cool down which si (3 minutes)..
so it's a total of 17 minutes.. which isn't bad..

if you do something like that.. with a 30 minute walk 5 days a week..
rotating your work out from upper body one day, to lower body the next, and then cardio the next, and finally abs/core after that.. then you'll get the body you want in no time.

I've been doing this for just a couple weeks and have already lost 3 1/2 lbs and see a difference in the way my clothes fit me..

but I do a custom work out..
I choose the
warm up, and then
I choose 2 of the other ones
and end with a cool down..

so for example..

one day I may do a
warm up, upper body, and abs/core and a cool down..
( about 30 minutes)

and the day after that I do the
warm up, lower body, Cardio, and a cool down
(also about 30 minutes)

and then I do a walk with my daughter on top of that too..

and I do it 5 days a week.. and let me tell you .. big difference ! (I'm also watching what I eat)

Anyway.. that's my suggestion for you.. and I don't normally recommend work out dvd's.. but I really love this one and actually look forward to doing it each day.. but most importantly.. I see and feel the difference !

5 days a week. 2 hours a day. Thats how im very healthy and thin.lol im only 11. but i train that way tennis.

Well, I work out seven days a week: running every day and lifting every other day.

you should work out 3 times a week bc u want to build up and break down your muscles. Start out stretching really good if u want do some cardio me personally i jus work out excersing lightly jumping jacks and lounges and squats really works believe me also if u do sit ups to work the lower half of ur tummy crunches for the top. good luck!

I walk 5 times a week for about 1 hour 20min (to work and back), Jog once a week for about 40min. I work on my arms/chest about 3 times a week and abs the same (alternate days).
